We are honored to serve you and your children through the Camp Ridge Top Children's Ministry at the Syracuse Vineyard Church! It is our passion to relationally connect with your children and teach them, in words and action, the love of God so that they can proclaim this truth from II Samuel 22:30 in their own lives:

"With Your help I can run through a barricade! With my God, I can scale a wall!"

We offer age-appropriate, energetic, and interactive programs at each of our three weekend services for children of all ages (newborns to middle school). Your child is precious and extremely loved by both you and God and we will do everything possible to make your child's experience with us safe, comfortable, fun, and engaging. Information on our programs for each age group is listed below.

Happy Campers (Infant) and Tiny Trekkers (Toddler) Nurseries

There are two nursery rooms available for little ones 3 years old and younger. Our Happy Camper Infant Nursery caters to newborns and children up to 15 months old. The Tiny Trekker Toddler Nursery is designed for children 16 months to 3 years old (potty-trained). We seek to provide an environment that is safe, clean, and allows the children to learn, grow, and develop.

Little Rangers Pre-School Class

Children that are between the ages of 3-5 (potty-trained) are a part of the Pre-School class. This class was established to provide pre-schoolers with an exciting, imaginative, and relational way to learn about the God who created them. Through singing, crafts, and Bible stories, these children are engaged with the love of God.

Trail Blazers Elementary Class (Kindergarten - 3rd Grade)

This age group is taught using a curriculum called Kidmo. Kidmo is a high-energy program that presents some of life's truths in creative and dynamic ways through worship, large group messages, and small group interactions. The small groups are divided into kindergarteners/first-graders and second/third-graders.

Explorers 4th and 5th Grade Class

This class is taught using a curriculum called Grapple and provides pre-teens with an opportunity to wrestle with the tough questions they have regarding faith and belief in Jesus. Through large and small group interactions, we hope to present the truths of God clearly to this age group in dynamic and engaging ways.

Family Lodge

In the Family Lodge, you can enjoy a live video feed of the entire service from the comfort of the couches while your little one plays with the toys in the room. This room is located in Camp Ridge Top, across from the Happy Camper Infant Nursery.

    

Saftey

All of our staff in the Camp Ridge Top Children’s Program has been subjected to both a criminal background and reference check. We use extreme caution with our volunteer leaders and staff to ensure that your child is in the safest care possible. Every attempt possible is made to have at least two care providers with each class at all times.

While at the Syracuse Vineyard, you will also notice that we have a Safety Team. This team monitors the flow of people in our building during our weekend services.

What do I do with my children when I arrive to Camp Ridge Top?

Upon entering the Children’s Wing at the Syracuse Vineyard, you will be greeted by our Children’s Welcome Team and asked to sign-in your child.

If your child is an infant or toddler:
You will be given three numbered stickers, one each for yourself, your child, and his/her diaper bag so that we can associate each child with their parent and belongings.

If your child is a pre-schooler:
You will be given two numbered stickers, one each for yourself and your child.

If your child is in Kindergarten-5th grade:
You will sign them in on their appropriate roster.

If there should be a problem with an upset child in the nurseries or the pre-school class, we will display the number on the stickers on a black screen in the upper left-hand corner of the stage area in our sanctuary to alert you of their displeasure. If one of the school-age children is upset, they will be escorted to the sanctuary where they will be able to sit with you during the adult service.
